Kensley's first big parade...in Louisiana!

Kensley went to her first, big parade yesterday! We had so much fun. It was called the Irish-Italian parade and next to Mardi Gras, it is one of their biggest parades. They throw all kinds of vegetables at you, to you, past you...etc! We also got flowers, swords, stickers, and of course, beads! James and I had to wander away to the bathroom (several times) because we had a few drinks while there. We made a detour on our way back to the parade and found this awesome daquiri bar. We had two jello shots there and came out with five daquiris! I got a fudge bar one and it was better then any chocolate shake I've ever had. We ended the day over at Aunt Debbie and Uncle Tim's house where James found himself eating crawfish (pinchin' the heads and sucking the tails) for the first time!

Takin' her first bath in the camper...in the sink!

Kensley needs a bottle as soon as we get there.

Mommy, Daddy, and Kensley!

Her first set of beads and she didn't even have to lift up her dress!

Beads anyone?!

Nap time!! :)

Kensley finally met her Great-Aunt Debbie!

Grammy's holding Kensley at the parade!

I'm such a happy girl here!

This can only be funny if you have had one too many to drink!

Fun time in the sunshine!

My goodness, we've been out of commission for the last month. I haven't been on here in such a long time, but I often think of posting new blogs. Finally we're back on here.

Yes
terday was such a fun day with Miss Kensley. We were able to get her to the park with her Daddy! She loves so much to be outside...I cannot wait to let her feel the grass for the first time. I think she is still a little young to understand what it is though! Daddy, Kensley, Mommy, Lexie, Lilly, Aunt Megan, Uncle Sean, and Addie all went to the park. We had so much fun. Kensley kept smiling and taking in all the fresh air. We can't wait til next week when we visit Papa Harrell in Louisiana. We will be taking all kinds of fun walks!
